Privacy
Policy
This page explains what Fitlab Nutrition does with your personal information. It covers everything you do on our website — browsing, creating an account, placing an order, or getting in touch with us about a delivery. If you use our site, this policy applies to you.
About This Policy
We have tried to keep it short and readable. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.
The Information We Hold About You
Things You Give Us Directly
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your billing address and delivery address
- Order details, such as what you bought and when
- Your account login details, if you create an account
- Anything you write to us in an email or a contact form message
A note on card payments. Card payments are handled by our payment providers on their own secure systems. Your full card number never reaches us and we do not store it.
What We Do With Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process your order, take payment and get your products delivered
- Manage your account and keep your order history in one place
- Reply to your questions and sort out any problems with an order
- Send you order confirmations, dispatch notices and delivery updates
- Send you marketing emails, but only if you have asked to receive them
- Understand how people use the site so we can make it work better
- Spot and prevent fraud, and keep the site secure
- Meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accurate financial records
We do not use your information for anything unrelated to running the shop.
How We Use Cookies
Cookies are small files saved to your device when you visit a website. We use them for a few practical reasons:
- Keeping your basket working as you move between pages
- Remembering your preferences so you do not have to set them again
- Measuring how the site is used, so we know what needs improving
- Advertising, where you have agreed to it
You are in control here. You can change your choices through the cookie banner on our site, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Turning off certain cookies may mean parts of the site do not work as smoothly.
How We Store and Protect Your Data
We take sensible steps to keep your information safe. That includes secure hosting, encrypted connections for payments, and limiting access to personal data so only the people who need it for their work can see it.
We should be honest about one thing: no website or internet connection can be described as completely secure. We do what we reasonably can, but we cannot promise a guarantee.
We keep your data only for as long as we actually need it — to fulfil your order, to run your account, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.
The Companies We Work With
To run the shop, we rely on a few outside companies. These include:
- Payment providers who process card and digital wallet payments
- Couriers and delivery partners who bring your order to you
- Our website hosting provider
- Email and analytics tools that help us communicate and understand site usage
These companies only handle your information for the specific job we have asked them to do, and they are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. The only other time we would share data is where the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect against fraud.
The Control You Have Over Your Data
You have rights over the information we hold about you. You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use your data
- Send your data to you, or to another provider, in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent, where we relied on consent to process your data
You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message we send.
To make a request, email us using the address below. We may need to check your identity first, and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes to This Policy, and How to Reach Us
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change the tools we use or the way we handle orders. Any new version will be posted on this page with a fresh "last updated" date. It is worth checking back occasionally.
If you have a question about your privacy, want a copy of your data, or would like something corrected or removed, please get in touch:
